Businiess name:  G & R Appliance Repair

Review content:
I was having some issues with the freezer on my Samsung fridge. Apparently this is a surprisingly tough issue, as most appliance repair companies in the area won't even touch Samsung. The initial diagnostic fee was $75. The tech (his name was Christian if I recall correctly) determined the vent was clogged in the back and cleaned out a MONSTER dust bunny. I chalked it up as a $75 lesson in fridge maintenance. Freezer worked out for about a week, and started failing again. Christian came back, de-iced the entire freezer. Freezer worked for a week, then started failing again. Owner came out next time, determined it was a faulty sensor, and ordered it. Owner came back a week later, installed the sensor, only charging me for the part cost (about $150) and some labor, which I think totalled it around $200. Freezer started failing a week later. Christian ordered and replaced the fan motor. No cost to me. Freezer started failing a week later. At this point, they were out of ideas. The did feel genuinely bad about not being able to fix the freezer, so they fixed a damaged solenoid in our microwave range. They did NOT charge me for that part, since it was about the same cost as the sensor for the freezer! AND they handed me a check back for the labor that didn't fix the fridge. They were always on time, ALWAYS called before stopping over, were courteous, patient with explanations, clean, and all around a positive experience. Aside from not getting the freezer fixed (only reason I gave them four starts instead of five!)
