Let me first say that I am one who has gone ""paperless"" and try to never carry cash as i spend it too quickly and don't know where it went. I find it irritating for places to still be ""cash only. I mean, if you want to charge me a little extra to use it, fine. I would prefer that. On top of that, the food was a little overpriced. The sandwich was just a tad above average, but then ""toppings"" were extra. This was the first time I have ever heard lettuce, onion, etc being a ""topping"". Then a side was extra on top of that. There also wasn't any hot sauce. Not even Texas Pete or Tobasco. I felt a little nickel and dimed especially for having to resort to the old greenback. \r

I will say that it was very fresh and well made. You could tell it was quality ingredients. Also, there happened to be a customer whose kids were out of control in the dining area. The manager politely asked the guy to be respectful of the other customers and have his kids use their ""inside voice"" and not run around the place screaming. After the guy had a fit, she stood her ground and explained her position again and was very professional about it. The guy and his family ended up walking out because they didn't want to make their kids be civil. That was impressive. \r

Bottom line, there were pluses and minuses, but I probably would not go back. The cash only thing really irritates me and it just wasn't worth the money. Maybe if you dont feel like driving to the village from the south end of Siesta key, always carry cash and don't mind paying a little extra since you are on vacation, it might be worth a look. Thats my take.
Pros: quality ingredients, responsible and proactive management
Cons: expensive, nickel and diming, no hot sauce, cash only
