I called Ed after quickly looking for the highest rated company on Angie's list. It was a Sat morning and I didn't know if I would have to pay extra for a weekend or not. Ed said he could get to it after finishing another job and called me back within an hour to come over. He quickly saw that my filter was completely clogged up due to renovation work being done in the house.
He advised me to change out the other filter in the house and start using the cheapest filters available. He explained why it is better to use the cheap filters and replace them every month rather than use the more expensive ones that actually block the air and prevent the AC from performing at peak.
He checked the unit and charged a very reasonable fee. I will have Ed return to do my seasonal maintenance and highly recommend him to anyone needing service!
