I had a pair of BOC's that I bought over two years ago...they are most comfortable and versatile shoes I've ever owned. I don't like the way the new style fits, and although two years is great these days to get out of a pair of shoes that I wear all the time, I didn't want to buy a new pair when one of the stitches began to unravel on the outside of the shoe. I brought it to Matilde at George's Shoe Repair, and left it overnight. I picked it up on Saturday morning - good as new. The repair only cost $4! I can probably get another two years out of these shoes, and for sure, the next time I need it stitched, I'm bringing it to Matilde!
