First let me state that finding a good dry cleaner in the City of Chicago is very difficult. And ratings are relative when there are far too many poor dry cleaners. This establishment is run by very nice people. After reading the reviews, besides being customer friendly I was hoping to find an expert at both dry cleaning and laundry. Don't confuse friendly customer service with competence. In my opinion, this establishment is below average. To stand out and be the best, stain removal needs to be done not only with care but with expert knowledge. It's not. A good dry cleaner needs to differentiate between types of stains and the best solution to address the problem without making it worse. Why would you bring something into a dry cleaner with a stain only to return home with a worse stain in a different color than the orginial stain!? And when it was brought to their attention, it was if that's standard operating procedure. I also expect good fininishing. By that I mean the pressing of shirts should not have ""puckers"" around the seams on the body of the shirt and on the cuffs. Finishing at this establishment is also below average. Six shirts stuffed into one plastic bag, no collar supports and puckers isn't my idea of an outstanding drycleaner. I 've tried this establishment on numerous occasions and because of what I've experienced, in my opinon it's not the best and it's time for me to move on.
