I am not one to normally write a review, but I read the review below and was quite shocked. I used Family Moving about a month and a half ago. My experience was great.
I am in ok shape, and have done some moving when I was in college so I know how it works. I was shocked how great his guys were at moving. I kept asking them to take a break, it was funny, but they were very polite and worked very hard. We had an entire truck filled packed and moved in about 5 hours.
I can't figure out what the complaints are over since it was very straight forward pricing, pay by the hour, extra for packing, which I did myself. As for the guys huffing and puffing, I moved into a 3 story town home, and it was 110 out so ya we were all huffing and puffing a bit.
They did a great job, and I am glad to refer my friends and family. It really wasn't that much money considering a Uhaul alone was going to be 200 for the rental and mileage, and insurance, and oh ya, I would have had to do 100% of the work..
