Man Tries to Run Over Two People
Police arrested Francesco Ricci, 54, of Mahopac and charged him with second-degree reckless endangerment. On March 15 police received a report from a male subject of an incident that had occurred at the Jefferson Valley Mall two days prior. Allegedly, the defendant had driven his car at the complainant and his family member while they were walking in the parking lot. On March 16, Ricci voluntarily appeared at police headquarters and was placed under arrest. No one was hurt police said. He was due in court on March 17
