I don't know about ""touristy,"" when I was there last night it was packed full of suits. Went in for a cool drink, we were thirsty from walkin around, it was around 3 pm. We had never been there before and so my boyfriend and I got this beer tasting special, for $5.95 we were only supposed to get 5 tastes but we ended up with 7, and free glasses. The bartender was cool, maybe it was just because we're nice and treat people well, or maybe the place is just cool enough to hook people up. Bottom line is, we came back for the happy hour (3:30-6:30). A pitcher of beer is $9.50 and that's not overpriced, as I only drink dark beers and it was a porter. The food is mainstream American food. Nothing fancy, normal portions, normal prices. Watch your tab to be sure you get the specials you're entitled to for the happy hour special. It's not a bad place, not the best place in the world, but if you're on K and you're thirsty, it's worth a beer. Pros: Wireless connection, good porter, staff is cool and not pushy Cons: could be cheaper
