JoAnne has changed my dog! When I got Lola, my lab mix, she did basically whatever she wanted. I couldn't have made more mistakes with her in terms of letting her know who was boss. She dragged me all over the neighborhood, lunged at squirrels, barked and lunged at other dogs. You name it. I sent Lola to board and train and she has been much calmer and listens much better. From the second I brought Lola in for her consultation with JoAnne, I could see the dog that Lola could be. Whereas Lola would ignore pretty much every command I gave her, she immediately listed to JoAnne. Dogs respond happily to her no nonsense style, even after being corrected. Notably, I think the most important transformation was with me--JoAnne has trained ME to be the alpha in my house. Lola is a better dog for it. Our walks now are fun, and even calming. Lola was so happy there during training that I fired my dog walker and I take Lola to ""day care"" there so she can play with the other dogs. Every day she sits at that gate and waits to go in with her tail wagging! She used to be scared of other dogs! If you are considering training, boarding, ANYTHING, this is the place to go. I can't say enough good things.
