We have been looking for a great and reasonably priced detail place for a number of years. My husband uses our SUV for work in the summers and does a lot of off-road travel. Needless to say it comes back REALLY muddy, filthy, and dusty! At the end of every summer, we put it in to get detailed and de-mudded. We thought that we would try Acton Express this year to clean our 4Runner. The owner, Dan, gave us a quote for the work, which was very reasonable and estimated that it would take a day to get it done. In the middle of the day he called to tell us that the work is much more involved than he had originally estimated and that he will need until the next morning. We came back to get the 4Runner and were amazed! It was cleaner than when we first bought it AND Dan honored the initial estimate despite working through the evening to finish the job. Dan also recommended that we should touch up the dings on the hood and a long scratch on the passenger side panel. He ordered the paint AND did the touching up for $40!! This even included a wash and tire treatment. We’re not convinced that he actually made any money on these two jobs – but he has gained our loyalty. We have finally found THE place to get our detailing done. Since then we have had Acton Express clean our second vehicle and are planning to bring our Pop-up camper to them as well.
Dan has a long-term vision for his business and wants to build a loyal customer base, which includes us. Oh yeah, they are also super-easy to schedule with. And check their website (actondetail-dot-com) for money-saving coupons.
