Look no further..I have stumbled upon this adorable little Italian restaurant located away from the main strip but in a cozy residential area in Moorpark...GROTTA AZZURRA. I cant believe I've lived in Moorpark for 10 years and then I move to Camarillo and find it. The best part is its family owned and they all work there. Great food, portions and prices...bread is amazing...you must take some togo!! The 28 inch pizza is an experience! I will be back...service was the best i've ever had...Samantha was great!! Very friendly and attentive! Wine list is small but you can bring your own (corkage fee is only like $9)...had the Ruffino Chianti great price!! This place is romantic but kid friendly too. When we were there they had a wait and large parties but our service nor food didn't suffer. I loved every aspect!! Decor is Beautiful. You must come and try it for yourself...maybe i'll see you there. We will be making this our date spot from now on. Lasagna is to die for...and save room for Gelato (great flavor selections)!
Pros: Bread!! Service and Food Amazing! Portions are generous...even half orders!
Cons: not open Mondays, no delivery but take out is fast, Need more locations!
