I swear this is a true story. a few months ago I brought in an expensive pair of mens black Coach shoes to be resoled and new heals put on, mainly because I had heard so much about this place. His price was over twice the price of my usual show repair but I thought just perhaps it would be worth it.\r
My black shoes including new heals were replaced with brown soles and brown heals and when I complained, he actually brought me outside and said ""When you get them in direct sunlight the shoes 'go' brown."" He must have thought I was a complete idiot. (I sell high end fabric to LA's top designers and believe me, I know color) I wanted both the heals and soles replaced but he just covered the heals and soles with some black polish that wears off every few times I wear them. I won't indorse my usual shoe repair but if you need any repairs done in the Sherman Oaks/Van Nuys area, my place is very close to Burbank Bl and Woodman and at half the price.
