We thought Catholic school would be a great way to enhance our child's education. Unfortunatly the school went through many changes over the past 3-4 years and the education is behind that of public schools. The teachers seem very unhappy and stressed, which shows through in their classrooms. There is a lot of bullying and inappropriate behavior such as boys talking dirty to girls on the playground and inappropriate drawings in on the bathroom walls. The new principal has lost all control over the school including the confidence from the teachers. The kids that bully and torment other students have no consequences. There has been a mas excidus of families from this school over the past 2 years to the point that the school used to have 2 classes per grade and is now down to one. The only families left are the ones that went to high school together and now have a social life through their kids. Some of the people I talk to from that school admit that the school and education are not good but they are still sending their kid their for socialization. Our son is in public school and he was behind in all the subjects. Public school was further ahead. I suggest you save your money or find a different private school. I hope one day Immaculate finds a new principal who will take charge and make this school live up to the reputation of what Catholic schools used to be.
