Review content:
The underlying problem is a blindness on the part of management to the very real problems and hazards of the old buildings. The place is literally falling apart. The fireplaces are everywhere, are not very well maintained in general, and inexplicably residents are using them all the time. Those that don't use them will find that all their expensive electric heating will be sucked out through the open fireplace as well as through the old and extremely energy inefficient windows and doors. And God help anyone stuck on the 3rd floor in a fire! Water is also a problem. Old plumbing is rupturing all over the complex and slow-dripping pools of water onto ceilings and walls, especially on the middle and bottom units. The prices are ridiculous when compared with the condition of the buildings. The so-called ""premiere"" units no doubt have many hidden problems and are worth nowhere near $1175/month.\r
Pros: Good location near UNCA and North Asheville
Cons: The prices have recently gone up while building quality has plummeted. Many units are hazardous.
