Heads up everyone! I made a reservation for a non smoking room for 2 nights,the ONLY difference was that I needed 2 beds for the second night.I was given a room and my friend went to use the loo(to urinate only),the plumbing failed.When we called they said we can bring you a plunger!$70 for this filthy place and they can bring me a plunger! I said, NO you have to move me.So they did,apparently to a non-smoking room.We were unaware of this.THEN,on Friday night,this guy(aka-Eric)comes by our room,knocks on the door,doesn't even say hello, just pulls some passive aggressive stuff and says to me,""do you understand this sign""(the tiny tiny no smoking sign on the door),I reply,""Hi,I am registered in this room and yes I do see that..is this a non-smoking room because I clearly registered for a smoking one?""Not only does he not answer me,he continues to be an ass,as if WE were trying to""pull one over on him"",and then walks away saying you""could""be charged for this.WELL,let me explain what the""could be charged for this""meant.At 4:52am that morning,Eric decides to start randomly charging my credit card.There was a charge for $52.88,then on check out the next morning Eric charged again $200!Bottom line Eric,you are an extortionist,YOUR staff put us in a non-smoking room when clearly my reservation was for a smoking room.Is EXTORTION part of the deal?Do you do this to a lot of unsuspecting travellers or what?The ONLY good thing about this place is the Mexican Diner in the parking lot on the other side.\r My advice;don't EVER stay in this filthy motel! Eric will charge you at will when he feels like it,and he will be totally rude because you are not white. He is an extortionist and quite dishonest~!BTW, the pool is NOT clean,it has stains throughout,I have stayed in cleaner hotels in Tijuana! Pros: Nothing Cons: Eric the owner
