Review content:
This has been our go-to place for Valentine's Day since we started dating. We go out to eat a lot, and wanted something a little different and TdB fit perfectly: good food, casual atmosphere but you can dress up a bit if you feel like it, great food, fun experience, and plenty of flavor. Make a reservation for sunset near a window to impress your date. It's a little pricey for a regular night, but they do have coupons if you sign up for their emails and they also participate in Miami Spice. For a nice dinner in a relaxing atmosphere, it really works out to be a great value since the food is delicious and the location is gorgeous. The salad and antipasti selections are always very good, with plenty to choose from... from mashed potatoes to roasted peppers to sushi. I absolutely love the fried sweet bananas. The medium rare garlic sirloin is my favorite cut of meat; hubby is partial to the bacon wrapped sirloin. The beauty of this place is that if you like meat, there is something for everyone since they really have a bit of everything. Don't hesitate to ask for a specific cut to head your way--we always let them know our favorites and then they know to pop by our table more often! The meat is heavily seasoned, so we usually just drink the house water and lots of it (not the bottled....remember that you don't have to buy the water if you don't want to; just ask for tap. It seems every year some poor young guy next to us gets stuck buying the water and didn't want to). The creme brûlée is very good; the key lime pie is sweet and tart but the crust is mealy.
