My role: customer from hell. Had packed the goodies, badly, had X amount to spend, was willing to take a chance on everything getting there in one piece. Look on the young woman's face on other side of the counter said, you're bad, lady, not mine, in the most polite way imaginable. She taped the box. Taped it again. Sighed. At least it will have a fighting chance now, she said. Sign here. I signed. Pay here. I paid. Thank you for your business. I left. Sat in my car. Came to my senses. Went back in and requested a do-over. Undid the done. Many fewer went in the box this time, but I felt comfortable they would arrive safely. Then, of all things, Joel calls me this afternoon to tell me the package got there. How cool is that? Very. I called Indiana - yes, all well with the contents - the very fragile contents. Great service. I am happy to say that this is my from now on shipping place.
