I called AAA for an electrical repair and when I refused to set an appointment because of a service charge just to give a quote I was given to a supervisor who waved it . BIG MISTAKE
The electrician showed up and and told me he could find out why my fan/ light didn't work and it would cost $150 for the diagnosis. After taking off the switch plate (3 min of work) I was told my switch was bad . THAT WAS $150 WORTH OF WORK ? I was now told the rate to repair would be $230 .
I felt stupid enough already and told him I would repair it myself. This job took me a $3 part and 5 min.
They called two days latter to see if I was ""happy"" and left a message. When I returned the call I spoke to two different people because the customer service manager as out for the day. I was not asked my name when they found that I had a complaint. Two days latter I sent an E mail from their site. Two weeks have passed and no response. Their customer service dept must only take care of HAPPY CUSTOMERS. I AM NOT ONE ,$150 for a man who was in my home for no more than 15 min , ($600 per hour)and did nothing
I will not call them again and I advise that you don't either.
THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS WHO THINK THAT THEY WERE TREATED UNFAIRLY
