Review content:
I called on a cruiser FJ that was at Dick Hannah's Longview Toyota store. I spoke to someone I assumed was representing that store. After a 1 1/2 hour drive we were greeted by Don Martin. Don's a very friendly, straight shooting guy. When we said we were ready to make a deal we were informed we had spoken to a manager at the Hannah Kia store in Vancouver and would have to drive another 45 miles down the road to do the deal there. Looking back I should have just asked for a salesman from the Toyota store, but liked Don and went ahead and followed him to Vancouver. The price on the Cruiser was pretty good, but we were offered 1/2 of low book on our trade-in. This is the second time we've bought from a Hannah store and both times were offered crap for pretty nice cars. Basically, I was told that unless your trade is just a few years old you will be offered very little at a Hannah store..that's Dick Hannah policy. I've bought two cars from Dick Hannah stores but never been able to trade a car in, choosing instead to bring them home and sell them myself. We bought the car and were treated well by the salesman and the finance manager. I didn't appreciate adding another 2 hours to an already 4 hour round trip drive and felt almost shanghaied in that respect. Pros: Decent price-good salesman Cons: Poor trade offer/mislead about which store I was working wit
