Businiess name:  Ivey's

We choose Ivey's over other local restaurants because Daniel's menu is always fresh and changes at least 2 to 4 times a year. The ""Crepes Mary"" made with filet tips is so very good, we advise, as the menu suggests, ""to eat them with your spouse!"" When halibut is on the menu, it is flown in fresh from Alaska. The duck is succulent, cooked to perfection with a Grand Marnier reduction. His shrimp & grits are unique in that the shrimp are served in a tangy sauce over fried grits cakes! The grits cakes also make an appearance on the appetizer menu with caramalized onions, maytag bleu cheese, and walnuts. Grouper, catfish, & ""catch of the day"" is offered several different ways. The steak choices are few but sufficient to satisfy a beef fix. And though I love dessert, I rarely order one because, well, let's just say the dessert list seems to be really just an afterthought. Besides, the meal is so gratifyingly good, who needs chocolate?\r \r Although weekend evenings probably need a reservation, weeknights and lunches are easy walk-ins.\r The restaurant is dark Sunday and Monday.\r \r We highly recommend this dining establishment for its wonderful food in a calm, casual setting.\r \r Oh, I almost failed to mention IVEY'S HAS ONE OF THE BEST WINE LISTS AROUND!!!\r \r p/s you won't believe how affordable this place is!!!!!!! Pros: wine list, food, price Cons: location, parking
