We have eaten here on several occasions. While we've had some good meals here, we were disappointed what was done when we didn't. This location burned and has moved to Florence, Alabama. I was hoping for some changes in service and food quality but it didn't materialize. I like the owner but her help has problems being prompt and attentive. I ordered a steak that was so tough, I couldn't eat it. Tho I rarely send food back for my own reasons, I know the owner and had no problem sending it back here. A new steak was prepared and it was just as tough. I ordered a take out box so I could feed it to the dog. They took $2.00 off the tab for a $14.95 steak (now $16.95, BTW). After new location opened, all steaks on the menu had went up $2.00, on average. My steak, this time, was good but I don't think it was worth $16.95. We ordered french fries for the child (not much selection on menu for young children) and a plate containing 8 fries was brought. We were charged $2.00 for 8 fries! I may eat here again if I'm among friends who insist dining here. As for me, they have some improvements to make and they need to reevaluate food quality if they're going to charge so much for it. There are other steak houses that serve better steaks for less money.
Pros: Hush puppies they bring with every meal are WONDERFUL!
Cons: Good luck on getting prompt service and a good steak you don't mind paying for!
