Review content:
I needed exhaust pipes for a Cessna 310. I took my old pipes in and was told that they could be repaired for about $2000.00. A moment passed and ""each"" was added. Naturally, I was shocked. The owner told me it was because there were three bends that had to be dealt with. I returned to my maintenance facility and told the mechanic the news. He also was shocked and called Knisley Welding. He was told the job would run about $8000.00, because of the complexity of the job. We went online and found another vendor that will send me the pipes for $3100. We informed Knisely Welding of this turn of events and they offered to do the job for the same price, explaining that I must have misunderstood what was said. Apparently, my mechanic also misunderstood. I later found Knisley Welding 310 exhaust for $675 each in a Trade a Plane ad, making the entire cost $2700. I opted to not give any money to Knisley Welding. Trust is important in business. I don't trust this one.
