Carlyle has it all.
From the moment I entered Carlyle until the close of the evening I was enchanted by their warm welcome, fabulous martinis, great food, and the cozy after dinner cocktail. Thank you! I never would have expected to find such a place on 17th & Thurman. It is on the expensive side, but very worthwhile. I enjoyed the Grilled Halibut special that had a Red Wine Reduction sauce. Very deep tasting. This was a good-sized portion which included polenta and portabello mushrooms. To top off the evening the bartender, Greg, recommended the Tijuana Speedball. The name sounded like it came out of the movie ""Blow""; this was a top notch cocktail. It is a tasty surprise. Get one! It is a Bailey's -ish treat. Keep up the good work.
