Review content:
This review is solely on the catering service that the restaurant offers. I recently had a wedding and I had ordered for Tropical Hut to do the appetizers. I had contacted the owner two months prior to place the order and also the day before the event to follow up. Believe me, it was difficult to get a hold of the owner and I finally did, but even after I spoke with him I had a funny feeling about the whole situation. Something in my gut was telling me not to trust him even though I see him on a daily basis. I didn't think that he would let me down considering that we exchange business services with one another. I even offered to pay him up front or give him a deposit, but he refused to accept and that he would collect the payment on the day of the event. I'm sooooo glad that I didn't give him any money now, but the money is not the issue for me. It was the fact that Tropical Hut had promised to provide their services and didn't follow through. And to top it all off, it was on a super special day. On my Wedding Day!!!! If those who have been through the stresses of wedding planning and the day of the event, it's very important to have reliable vendors. I wanted to let other people know what happened to me so that it wouldn't happen to them! Even if your not planning to have a wedding, then think again about hiring Tropical Hut to cater your next Birthday Party, Anniversary Party, or even a gathering at your house!
