Review content:
I work for Able and I feel I must comment on this review. Yes, we were late due to a truck breakdown. This was out of our control. We did in fact show up in a u haul because we agreed to do a job and if necessary, we will use a rental truck. If you worked in the moving industry you'd know that trucks go down unexpectedly sometimes and alternate methods are sometimes necessary. We could have cancelled, but that's not how we choose to handle our customers. We got the job done. It is completely untrue that we charged this person for time while we were in route. Our company policy is that billable time DOES NOT start until we reach your location. It sounds as though this persons biggest issue was that we were late, life sometimes happens. I'm certain that money was subtracted from the total bill at the end to help compensate for the inconvenience. Our customers are our best advertisement and I found it unfair to make so many assumptions. To those of you who write company reviews, wouldn't it be more productive to call the company that you're reviewing if you were unsatisfied rather than anonymously posting it on the internet? How can a business improve or learn from bumps in the road if they aren't given the opportunity to even know when someone is unsatisfied. I'm glad that I took a look here, if I wouldn't have, I would have never known someone was unhappy with us. A phone call would have been more productive.
