Lowell Treatment Center is a great facility for children and adolescents who suffer from mental health issues. My daughter is Bi-Polar with ADHD and PTSD. . she is 11 and has been at this facility for several weeks. The staff is wonderful and the care exemplary. She has been to various facilities and this is the best care she has gotten thus far. The staff members are pleasant, helpful, but most of all they truly care for the youths. The center is very clean and tastefully decorated in a children's theme...with beautiful painted murals on the walls that give it a warm, homelike feeling. \r

If your child has been to facilities and gone home and failed to respond to treatment..look into Lowell Treatment Center and your child will get much more quality care than many of these residential treatment centers. I couldn't be more relaxed and happy that my child is in good hands and likes where she is. The Dr. and case manager are so supportive and keep you up to date concerning medication management, the child's response to the meds. They are closely observed and vital signs taken every day. The nurses are knowledgeable and will give you an up to date report any time you want to know what is happening with your child's behaviors and responses to treatment. They are never too busy to talk to you and call as often as they need to when your child is having a rough day. They keep you up to date. They have both a pediatric unit and an adolescent unit. Give Lowell Treatment the opportunity to help your child get stabilized and get the help they so deperately need.
Pros: The staff is wonderful and make you very comfortable and care is of the highest quality.
Cons: Cannot think of any!
