Busiest spot on Ocean Drive for outdoor breakfast is clearly News Cafe. My ""jewish omelette"" (salmon & cream cheese omelette) was fantastic! My wife ordered Eggs Florentine, and when it arrived 20 minutes after ordering, the eggs & sauce were cold while the accompanying potatoes were hot. We sent it back, and the waiter returned with another fresh serving of it in about 7 minutes. Same problem--the sauce was cold. Try AGAIN, and on the 3rd try, (about 7 minutes later again)the dish was served at the temp it should have been. However, the spinach in the dish should have been shredded, and the bland cream sauce on top should have been a more flavorful hollandaise-style sauce. We expected better, but at least the embarrassed waiter didn't charge us for the Florentine dish. As a bonus, they have the classiest, cleanest bathrooms I found on the strip--impressive!
