Review content:
We stopped by News Cafe because it is famous for the people-watching on Ocean Drive. We specifically went during happy hour after researching it as ""the best happy hour in SoBe"" All liquor is 50% off, but happy hour only applies in the bar area not the entire restaurant, which was weird. The bar does have 3 tables on a balcony that overlook Ocean Drive, however, so we sat at one of those after ordering at the bar. The bartender was very nice and helpful. We ordered a Miller Lite, which came ice cold, and a Strawberry Mojito, which was too sweet for my liking. We also got the spinach and artichoke dip, which was fantastic. It was piping hot and fresh and a perfect chip to dip ratio. We recommend for the people-watching and happy hour, but we would not go to this place for a regular meal. The menu was expansive and not reasonably priced even for the area.

Cons: expensive, happy hour only in bar
