A customer of mine brought to my attention these negative reviews being posted about Step By Step. I am writing in defense of these reviews. These reviews were posted during a period of time when a competitor in my industry had recently threatened to ""ruin me"" for taking several bids from him. Shortly after these threats, these negative reviews began to appear online. None of these reviews seem to represent any job I have ever done. In addition, the reviewer claims I was paid up front, which I never do. It is illegal to ask for more than 10% up front on any construction job. At Step By Step we aim for customer satisfaction, and will work through any problem which may arise during a job. I have never left a job unfinished or not completed as to the terms of my contract. By the way, Step By Step is not in litigation, nor have we been contacted on this, or any matter,as described in this review.
