Review content:
I have no intentions of getting caught up in someone else's drama but I also recognize there is always someone who has a medical horror story to tell. Sure, some of the staff I find more friendly and accommodating than others. I've had my nose rubbed the wrong way on a few instances but overall I have been happy wtih my treatment. My doctor is helpful, a good listener, and is willing to work with me. I like some of the doctors and not so happy with others in the practice. However, I find that the staff are always respectful about accommodating my preferences if I can't see my doctor. I also find that being responsible for my own treatment and health by being a strong advocate, educating myself, and clearly stating my needs and boundaries is key to faciliating a good relationship. Is the diagnosis perfect on the first try everytime? No, but I can't say they've been way off or negligent either. I find that the short comings of this practice are common in other practices. They are also reflective of the more general issues in contemporary American medicine than anything else. I've never had a problem getting an appointment or having concerns heard. They have been exceptionally good about confidentiality even before HIPPA. This is really saying something considering my entire family receives care in this practice. As an adult who has been coming here since childhood, I like that I can talk to my doctor and not have to worry that he will discuss my treatment with my family and vice versa. Overall, I really can't complain. I feel sorry for that other woman but I don't know the real story and there is always someone like and her situation in every crowd.
Pros: Adequate parking, close to highway, lab and emergency facility in same building
Cons: No weekend hours and only one late night/clinic each week.
