Businiess name:  Old World German Restaurant

Review content:
my eleven year old son was looking at the reviews and showed me the one below from 6/10 "" so you think you know what you are getting?"" i just laughed because it was a review his father had written, obviously to hurt us, so i told him you can't believe everything you read. his father was stupid enough to use the name ""papapiro"", which is what he used to call my son when he was a baby. \r anyway, i just wanted to let people know the same. as for the food , of course i think it's awesome, it's my mom's cooking! she was born and raised in munich and the style of food we serve is what she grew up on. as most people who have lived in germany know the foods can vary greatly depending on what region you are in.\r growing up in this restaurant from the age of 18 to my now almost 41 years, i am biased but i do think our guys in the kitchen work really hard! \r going down the menu: our sauerbraten is a roast we cook and season ourselves and make the gravy from that, the spaetzle are made from scratch(a lot of work), we get the sauerkraut imported raw but we cook and season it, we shred our red cabbage, cook and season it. \r cordon bleu: cut and butterfly our own pork loin and stuff with ham and cheese and breaded and cooked when ordered\r we cut our own meats, go through tons of potatoes, potato pancakes from scratch, bake and season our corned beef , i'm sure that's why our rubens are so great\r we use great quality lunch meats, not that jellied pressed looking stuff, make both german and american potato salads\r and we like our pan-fried potato's BLACKENED!! my mom always says you give a german white potatos and he'll have a heartattack and the beer has to have a head on it!\r it's not that we don't serve great food, some items might not be to your liking and then you just try something else next time.\r even before we had the restaurant one of my favorite things to do is eat good food and as often as i have frequented a certain restaurant for over twenty years there are times when i do eat a dish i'm not too crazy about and the next time order my favorite again.\r so i thank our faithful regulars for over 23 years of business and allowing us to serve ya'll the food we love and being able to watch your families grow up along with ours.
