Businiess name:  Bud's Repair

Review content:
Ahhh ... Bud's. Where would we be without you? Well, we would still be in North Platte, that is certain. \r \r During our cross-country drive from Chicago from LA (we were moving, with dog and cat in tow) the alternator on our Subaru died. Once we coasted to a stop on I-80, we called AAA and were towed to North Platte where we got to spend the day. (It was a Sunday--no repair shop was open till Monday morning.) \r \r Always concerned about getting duped off by mechanics, we were a little worried about our limited options. But the guys at Bud's were great. We got a call bright and early on Monday morning (around 8:15 or so) confirming that the problem was indeed the alternator, and luckily they had one on hand. An hour and a half later, we were on the road again, and the bill was not beyond what I'd expect to pay for an alternator. I was impressed by the quick turnaround, and the courteous care. (they even drove over to the hotel where we had spent the night to pick us up in the morning.)\r \r I'd recommend Bud's to anyone passing through North Platte and need auto repair. Pros: AAA business Cons: Closed on Sunday
