Review content:
I would like to first off say that I am sceptical of the reviews on Oval Repair on this page. No typos or spelling problems? Doubtful. I would also like to point out that the diagnostic Jeff performed missed the slack in my timing chain. He wanted to replace the motor in the car, with a repair bill in the neighborhood of $4000, when we got another opinion the head and the timing belt repair was a total of $350, if you estimate double that for labour (my rule of thumb for repair is if an estimate for labor exceeds 200% of the cost of the part I need to know why) I would expect a repair cost of $1050. I feel certain that I would have ended up with a new engine that would have solved the problem and paid nearly $4000. He may or may not have done a 2 hour diagnostic on my car, but the diagnostic recipt does not even mention that the chain had enough slack in it to remove without tools. I definately do not recommend this company and plan to make sure everyone I know understands the problems I had here.
