Growing up ""New Orleans"" can't happen unless you embrace the city itself and all it has to offer. Go anywhere in the United States besides NOLA and you won't be able to find a beignet thats actually authentic and not a donut. In the Heart of the French Quarter sits this amzing cafe where you can find deliciously authentic new orleans beignets that cannot compare to anywhere else in Louisiana. Cafe Du monde was a favorite of mine growing up and still is to this day
