Review content:
The older guy who works there is rude. Did not get to see the kennels, which made me uncomfortable. When I returned to get my dog (small beagle/daush mix), I could hear her yelping in pain. She was behind a half-door, loose, with a collie, large poodle, and a German Shepheard all nipping at her. They had her backed into a corner. I had been told that my dog would be placed with dogs that were her size only; no larger dogs. The guy went and got the rest of her prescription food and her bed (we had purchased the bed the week before--it was NEW) which he had all rolled up. I was so anxious to get my dog out of there that I took her, the food ,and the bed and left right away. There were two cans of prescription dog food left over and there should have been none. I took the exact amount of food for her stay. She was starving when I got home with her. When I unrolled the bed, it was FILTHY. There was dirt caked along the bottom, and the entire bed , top and bottom, was covered in long white dog fur. My dog has short dark hair. The bed was also saturated in fresh urine--it was still wet. My dog would NEVER urinate in her bed. Most dogs will not urinate in a bed they sleep in. Then I saw roaches crawling out of the bed onto my hardwood floors. Multiple roaches. Had to throw the bed away. We will never go there again. I called to report this the next day, and the girl that answered the phone all but called me a liar. No apology, no acceptance of responsibility. My dog is like my kid, and I paid the full fee to have her boarded and even to have one on one playtime w/staff while I was out of town. I expected much better pet care and I did not expect to bring roaches home with me. An apology would have meant alot, but still would not have earned any further business from me.
