Review content:
In response to the review that New Orleans Manor 'does not live up to the hype'. This was obviously an uninformed opinion. My husband and I dined there one week ago today for his birthday. We were seated immediatley, something you don't find anywhere else. This place is run by a family who clearly cares about the experience you have at their restaurant. I hardly consider this restaurant 'pretentious'! The staff was very inviting and made no impression that they were trying to be 'selective'. As for the wine and salmon, it was wonderful. Most people not accustomed to being served wine at restaurants later learn that it is not traditionally filled to the top of the glass. Wine is something to be savored and enjoyed with your meal, not swilled like beer. I would recommend New Orleans Manor to anyone who would enjoy an exceptional restaurant.
Pros: exceptional food, prompt service, friendly staff
