I took my son out of this center after just 1 day! His diaper was soaked and obviously hadn't been changed in hours, plus 1 side was hanging off of him and the tab was stretched all of the way across his stomach. It left a terrible welt for 2 days. They took his comfort item and put it in a different room, he was so upset! I was then told that it wasn't important and to just leave it and buy another one. There was offensive rap music blaring in the infant/toddler areas. A baby was left unattended asleep in a swing (without straps fastened)...no one was in the room with her and didn't even check on her for over 45 minutes. My son cried and shook for 3 hours and begged me not to take him back (he's 1 1/2). He was scared to death of the staff when I picked him up. He had a black eye and I got no explanation for it. When I called the center to discuss these matters, I was called a liar and was told that the reason he got treated differently is because it's a predominately black daycare and my son is white.Sorry but I thought all kids were to be treated equal!!! I would stay clear of this place...they schedule their tours to put on a front. Go in unexpected to pick your child up and you'll be very surprised at what REALLY goes on while you're away!
