Review content:
My child has played with NYS for the past 3 years and we have always had an excellent experience. Going into the league knowing that NYS is all parent volunteers helps out ahead of time and I think it's great that parents can be involved! It's not a babysitting service, so if you are looking for that I'd go elsewhere. The staff is great and the office can get a little hectic but when I do get to talk to someone they have always been polite and tried to help when possible. Each season they are getting more and more organized it seems! Only other problems I have encountered have been the occasional rude parent and people not willing to help out the team with coaching.
Pros: non-competitive, fun, helpful staff
Cons: need more phone lines
