I stopped in this garage to have them find the source of a sqweeking noise coming from the front of my car. \r

The staff took it for a test drive, and found the source of the problem to be a hood hinge after about 15 minutes of looking. \r
\r
I was charged $26.50 for this garage to put about three cents worth of lubricant on a hinge. \r
\r
Naturally I complained about the bill before being forced to pay it. The owner said his boys spent about twenty five minutes working on my car. This was not true. I pointed out that the mechanic that fixed the noise was talking with other customers for almost ten minutes before he handed the repair bill to the boss. \r

The boss said he was not aware of this. I even called later that evening to ask if there was a mistake with the bill. I was assured that there was not. \r

DO NOT GO TO THIS GARAGE. Based on what I was charged to have a hinge lubricated a standard oil change by my calculations would cost hundreds of dollars here. NEVER AGAIN will I stop at this joke of a garge for maintenance. \r

I am thirty but am cursed by looking much younger due to my baby face and stature. i wonder if this had anything to do with my outrageous service bill. \r

$26.50 to lubricate a hinge!!! Does this sound fair and resonable to you???
