This is the only restaurant I have ever gone back to after having a bad experience, and boy what a huge mistake that was! After moving to the Hackettstown area, I was delighted to see there was a Japanese place because I love sushi. My husband and I went there about two years ago and there were lipstick marks on my tea cup. The bald owner/greeter seemed unphased and had the waitress bring me a new one. I ordered some sashimi and a roll that had pieces of apple in it, but I told them not to include the apple because I am allergic. The roll came out with apples in it. Again, ""baldie"" didn't even apologize and almost seemed annoyed at me. So we pay the bill (the place is totally overpriced but you won't find sushi anywhere else in the area) and leave with no intention of ever going back. Now, two years later we (against my husband's will) went back tonight. We ordered a Spider Roll, Sashimi Dinner for me and Chicken Teriyaki for my husband. For almost $11, the Spider Roll consisted if 4 pieces (it has always been 6 everywhere else I have been). The waitress brings me a Sushi Dinner that comes with a tuna roll and I told her I didn't order that. She was completely shocked when I told her I ordered the Sashimi Dinner. Here is the BEST part... the chicken in my husband's dinner was dry and cut into small cube-like pieces. It tasted like it was previously frozen, similar to what it used in frozen dinner meals. He told the waitress that it was very dry and he didn't want it. She went to get baldie and it was like de ja vu. He just stood there and looked at us so my husband tells him it was dry. He raises his arm and yells to the waitress, ""TAKE IT OUT OF HERE!"" Then they both walk away. He returns a few minutes later to tell us that he tasted the chicken, and that it is not dry. REALLY??????????????? Great customer service once again! We will NEVER be going there again obviously. Good luck to anyone that chooses to waste their money there. \r
