I've not eaten at the Galletto because service is so bad for drinks and desserts that I'd never have the time to actually have a full meal. The staff is rude. It's always rude. The reason? Because the owner is rude. Unless you are a regular or they know you by name you are completely ignored. Four of us waited for over an hour to be seated. When we told them it was for drinks only, they wrote us off, as if to say 'since we weren't spending a lot, there was NO reason to treat us properly'. The entire back of the restaurant was empty and they continued to allow us to stand at the bar instead of seating us. We were willing to wait until the dinner crowd thinned out. We were still ignored. I approached the hostess no less than 3 times in a 2 hour period, Nada, Zip, Zilch. She finally said in the same attitude you get from the owner to JUST GO SIT ANYWHERE IN THE BACK, YOU COULDV'E DONE THAT AN HOUR AGO. My question...why didn't she tell us an hour ago. If I'm going to pay $7.00 for a drink, I'd at least like it served with a smile and hold the superior attitude.
