Review content:
I am a food writer for a food magazine . I was led to Salernos on Citysearch as it said it had the best pizza in the Valley. I have reviewed Pomo Pizzeria in Scottsdale & Pizzeria Bianco in Phoenix. This restaurant is far from either of those. The indegredients are not freshly made. I could tell most everything came out of a can. The salad & dressing was packaged and not made fresh. The pizza has much to be desired because the sauce was not made fresh. The prices are above that of most Italian restaurants that are well established. My overall grade D+. I would caution anyone who reads the other reviews to be wary of their validity as most everyone did not want to take their leftovers home. Any good restaurant has most everyone wanting to box up their food.
