Review content:
the exotic flavor spectrum provides a challenge to the western palate with such dishes as acorn jelly and pickled steak. it's wonderfully cooked. and while i wonder if such cuisine will really cultivate cravings amongst the unschooled, i'm delighted to see the high marks below. the food is economical, intriguing, balanced and frequently tasty if not illuminating. the lighting is dumbly bright and oh god--the service is hammy. it's enthusiastic, professional and TOTALLY scripted. they need to drop the ""you are in the garden of bewon"" routine asap. Pros: exotic flavors, great execution, myriad dishes Cons: silly service routine, bright lights
