Last night I was in a minor car accident in which required a tow. The accident took place on rand rd about 0.3 miles from Mikes Towing. The car was immediately brought back to Mikes Towing but after the receptionist business hours so I had to wait until the following morning to pick up my car. \r

Upon arrival they told me the cost for less than a 1 mile tow would be $590. In addition, they were rude and insulting to my family when we nicely asked why the cost was so high. The managers exact words were "" next time you get in an accident get full coverage so you dont have to pay for anything."" We were left with no choice at the time but to pay the $590.\r

Considering there is very little that can be done with the BBB becuase they have the right to charge whateveer they want, I can only share my experience in hopes you will remember this if you ever need a tow in wauconda. There are several other tow companies in the area to call and I GUARANTEE you will not be charged even half of Mikes Towing fee's. \r

Thanks for reading and please understand I have never felt the urge to blog about a company especially negatively but I am so upset after leaving there I felt this was the best way to share my experience with them.
