New Horizons Academy can be a wonderful place for kids with learning challenges. I know since my son has been attending this school for 4 years. Many of the kids at NHA have been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, dylexia or some other learning disability. The school facility is a bit outdated and is somewhat limited, but the teachers sure make up for the physical plant shortcomings. The teachers are caring and dedicated, as many of the teachers have been there for 5 or more years. These teachers are there because they love the kids, and you can tell! The administration is concerned and involved as well. I am very happy that my son has a place where he can go to learn, be nurtured and succeed. If your child has a learning disability and has been unsuccessful at other schools, you should definitely consider a tour/visit to NHA.
