Review content:
I left Summerwood Pediatrics shortly after my second visit with my new daughter. It took a very short time to discover how horrible the nurses are and the lack of communication between all of the staff. They constantly contradicted one another and their billing department is terrible. I am still getting a bill for over $300 because they cannot manage to bill the correct policy number. I even had my insurance company contact them twice, to no avail. If you call, don't expect to get a live person or even a call back for more than 3 days!!! The office appears scary & institutional to children as you can tell when you see the kids in fear when they through the door. I have switched to a great practice on Rte 57 in Liverpool. They are very accommodating, knowledgeable, and have a much more inviting environment for kids. Our favorite Dr. so far is Vito Losito. Thankfully our daughter is a little over 1 year now and has had absolutely no problems, but I feel very secure in my decision to get her the hell out of Summerwood.
