Review content:
The Rundown Cafe has been a local's favorite for many years. It has a pacific rim/caribbean/seafood based menu, but there are plenty of meals for ""American"" tastes as well. Prices are excellent (entrees top out at about $16, and the tuna burrito is a serious bargain at about $7), the ambience is friendly and the beers are cold. Make sure to meet Mike, the hard working owner. The specials of the day always feature the best of local seafood. You will find the Rundown near the Kitty Hawk pier. I have been to this place more than 50 times over the years, and it is by far and away my favorite OBX restaurant. If you are just visiting, or an Outer Banks regular, do yourself a favor and try the Rundown Cafe!
