Review content:
I have an auto financed with County Financial Services, Anaheim, California - I got insurance on this car 2 days beforeI took it off the lot. I have maintained insurance on the vehicle since it was purchased. I have a due date on my insurance company, the due date is the 7th and must be paid by the 2nd of the next month. That is exactly what was stated on my insurance bill thatI receice every month. I had a family emergency and the same identical letter is sent to County Financial Services. I had my inurance paid by the 20th of the month, which is thenormal date I pay it at the local office, instead of mailing it to the national office of the insurance company. That way I get it in, put on my credit card, and get a confirmatioin number . Otherwise, if Ipay the home office, I don't get a confirmation number, and they take their time getting itinto their computer, up to two weeks. This way, paying local, I have proof that it is paid on time. Now, Country Financial is trying to add $93.35 on to my monthly vehicle for just ""loss of damage waiver"", not insurance, which my state requires. If I didn't have insurance on my vehicle, I would lose my registration, have to return my license plates. This is a mandatory, penalty insurance state. My insurance company mailed verification to County Financial Services, the 20th of March, the day I paid the insurance. Still, on the 5th of April 2007, I get a letter telling me about this additional insurance. That isn't bad enough, when I told them the paper was in the way to them, they said that I was paying close to 25% interest on my loan, which is not what I had agreed to. I have the vehicle and make the payments, and my ex-husband pays the payment because he has my other vehicle, in storage, repairing it for himself after an accident. \r When I make a payment, it takes them 2 plus weeks to record my payment. This is redicules. This is the worst turn-around I have ever had with a company. Pros: Easy to get financing with them Cons: 2 weeks process payment & respond to correspondence & try to add extra coverage on account, needlessly
