Review content:
I had never been in this store before and came to purchase some treats for my 2 parakeets and 1 parrotlet. I left the store in tears for the poor birds that are in this store. They had 3 beautiful parrotlets. Each was in his/her own cage. THEIR WATER WAS FILTHY. THE FOOD THEY WERE GIVEN WAS THE SIZE FOR FULL-SIZE PARROTS - NOT FOR THE SMALLER SIZE PARROTLET. THE CAGE BOTTOM WAS FILLED WITH DROPPINGS. THESE BIRDS ONLY HAD ONE TOY - A SWING. I asked the cashier when was the last time the water was changed - she said that morning. THERE IS NO WAY THAT WAS TRUE. THE WATER WAS CLOUDY AND FULL OF WASTE AND URINE. Parrotlets need to be mentally stimulated. I asked the cashier how long they had been in the store and she responded ""a few weeks."" My heart broke for these poor creatures. Birds that have no mental stimulation develop behavior problems and feather plucking. If I had the money, I would have rescued these poor creatures. I can only pray that some loving person(s) will give these babies the home they deserve. I WILL NEVER SUPPORT THIS STORE!
