I took my cat to be spayed the other day. She went through the surgery just fine. Then, 4 days later...she stopped eating and drinking completely. I didn't know what's going on so I took her back to them. I brought her in the morning, but nobody took a look at her until late in the afternoon. I had to call them twice! Then, they told me we don't know either. I took her to a different vet the next day and they confirmed that she picked up a viral infection when she was spayed.. I guess they did not want to admit that when i took her there. The expenses that I had to pay because of this were a lot more than the cost of the surgery. I should have taken her to a better place. Pay more upfront and safe more money later.
